Nothing definitive so far though some clubs have enquired about Amoura and Vavro to Fiorentina.

Match Preview:

(A) to Bayern

Date: Sunday, January, 11th

Kickoff: 5:30 PM German time

Form table:

Bayern last 5- WWWDW

VFL last 5- LDWWL

All-time head to head record: 51 FCB wins, 7 draws, 5 Wolfsburg wins

Last meeting: Bayern won last January 3-2 at the Allianz Arena

This is going to be a tough one to put it mildly for Die Wolfe. Surprising no one, Bayern are currently topping the table and have no faced much adversity so far this season. Have not lost all season, and only have two draws and 13 wins. Also, their defending has been superb with just 11 goals conceded and 55 for. Leading scorer is Harry Kane with 19 goals in just 15 appearances, followed by Luis Diaz with 8 goals in 14 appearances. Led by the Belgian Vincent Kompany, Bayern have made it look quite easy this season and do not look like they are going to slow down anytime soon.

Olise is another huge player for them, and of course anytime a visiting side goes to play at the Allianz Arena, not going to be an easy time for them.

On the other side, are the visitors, our VFL. Currently sitting in 14th position in the table, it has been a letdown season for the boys. Nothing has clicked essentially all season long, and the players have not performed at their best.

However, since the temporary, and now permanent, installation of Daniel Bauer as manager, the form has picked up a bit and their is light at the end of the tunnel. Mo Amoura or the Algerian Magician as we call him, has been immense this season but unfortunately is still at AFCON so young striker Pejcinovic who scored a hat-trick against Freiburg last game, albeit in a lose, will need to step up again. Same goes for Majer and company as well.

Current odds have it being an easy 3 points for Bayern and we can certainly see why that is the case. Key will be to get the ball into the channels, double up on Kane if possible, and at least come back home with a point.

We shall see what happens! And of course as always, for our USA fans, the game will be live on ESPN Plus.

Stay tuned for our next posting!
